#WhoTalks | Let Cable News Shows Know We’re Watching, and Counting!
For the past two weeks, Who Talks? has paid special attention to the way women’s voices have been included, or not, in serious discussion about the two major party conventions — the Republican National Convention held from July 18–21 in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Democratic National Convention held from July 25–28 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The numbers are now in, and the results are grim.
Despite the number of women present on stage at both conventions the number of women analysts on the ground remains stubbornly low, with major cable news shows including women commentators only a fraction of the time. Check out the latest Who Talks? infographic to see how CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News fared.
Share the latest Who Talks? infographics and let cable news shows know that we expect more women contributors in national discussions. This affects us all, and we’re watching.
