Actress Ellen Pompeo has gotten tons of media coverage for her remarks about the lack of people of color in movies and on television, but the whole conversation with all of the actresses is worthy of attention. We fully recognize that the amount of money these actresses are discussing is WAY more than the average person is paid and could elicit an eye roll from some, but there are still so many important points we can take away, such as the importance of raising each other up, standing up for equal pay, and, maybe more importantly, demanding equal amounts of respect from the C-Suite.
