Avengers of the Week | Supporting Each Other
This week we celebrated International Women’s Day. We were so excited to see individuals and advocacy accounts take to social media to move beyond lip service to challenge the status quo.

Keep supporting each other… Women have come a long way, broken many barriers, and have contributed much to society. Social media accounts like ours that speak out against gender inequality exist because women still have so far to go. GenderAvengers aren’t afraid to speak up when we see something. But we want to remind everyone that gender equality advocacy can have its pitfalls and even dangers.
This thread by Equality Network highlights why our collective voices and support are needed and why we must continue to support each other in these spaces when we speak up or speak our truth.
